Welcome to February's 28 Days Of Sequels! Every day throughout February one of our VIPers (Jenn, Susan Or Melanie) with occasional comments from the others will present a movie sequel complete with a trailer! The big difference with this list is they aren't all winners that we loved. Some were disappointments and some just trainwrecks. Hollywood is short on original ideas so when one hits big, they milk it for all its worth and squeeze it dry. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Day 3 - Shock Treatment (1981) - MelI am pretty sure that everyone reading this will have heard of a little cult movie called The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Although when it was made I don't think anyone could have anticipated the movie and even more so the interactive performances still being a thing almost 50 years later! Which brings us to today's movie Shock Treatment. There are two groups of people (well at least among the few that have heard about it), those that think it is a little slither of genius. and those that pretend it doesn't exist. For the most part, except for when I want to drag up weird things for articles I sit in the second camp. The movie, although not an official sequel, features many of the cast, a lot of the same campy weird ideas, but none of the magic that made RHPS the wonder that it is. It follows Brad and Janet Majors, but all the other main cast play other characters, and the nail in the proverbial coffin is definitely the lack of Tim Curry. I will confess we own the DVD, but more because I feel it is something we should have, rather than because we will probably ever watch it again. 2 Fast 2 Furious is the action packed sequel in the Fast and Furious franchise that focuses on the late, great, Paul Walker's character, Brian O'Conner. It also introduces Tyrese Gibson as Roman Pearce and the dynamic between the two main characters is what makes this movie so fun, and to be honest, you don't even miss Vin Diesel's Dom Torretto, despite what the critics said.
This movie has less of the big stunts that come in later movies, but that's what makes it a great sequel, because it's all about the cars, the action, and doesn't give you a headache from rolling your eyes at the outrageous stunts that can be so stupid...
Melanie - Hmmmmm pretty sure the only one in this franchise I have watched is Hobbs and Shaw, and pretty sure I didn't know that was part of the franchise when I did lol. The over the top action stunts sound good though!

Welcome to February's 28 Days Of Sequels! Every day throughout February one of our VIPers (Jenn, Susan Or Melanie) with occasional comments from the others will present a movie sequel complete with a trailer! (and the original movie for trailer comparison) The big difference with this list is they aren't all winners that we loved. Some were disappointments and some just trainwrecks. Hollywood is short on original ideas so when one hits big, they milk it for all its worth and squeeze it dry. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Blues Brothers 2000 - JennBlues brothers, I’m sure we have all heard of that movie because I mean come on it’s a cult classic, but Blues Brothers 2000 may have you going I’ve never heard of that. This movie takes place way after the originals and it starts with Elwood getting out of jail, only to learn that his partner has died. Not letting this deter him he’s determined to do everything he can to get the band back together, and that’s exactly what he does along with some new faces. Some might ask does he get in trouble with the law in this movie, of course he does it wouldn’t be a blues brothers movie without that. Melanie - I vaguely remember seeing this years ago, but I never really remember it. I don't think it will be one I will be rushing to watch again though. That being said I don't love the original either lol. Have you seen it? What did you think? Stream It Or Skip It? Be sure to let us know in the comments below!
