How I found the author: I found this series through another author that I used to read, who shared about the series, and having seen the cover and read the blurb, I was instantly pulled in.
Why people should read:I think people should read this series if they want something different, something unique to read, and characters to love and loathe. While I do love a good vampire or shifter story, it's refreshing to jump into new lore, no stories that aren't as widely known. FYI, if vampire's are you're thing, Amanda also has a vampire series under her alter ego, Kate Baxter, Last True Vampire.
​Recommended Series - Shaede Assassin The series starts with a storyline and supernatural entity that hasn't been done before, and a kickass heroine that really connects with the reader. Darian isn't a perfect character, and she isn't used to letting people in, which is something I can relate to. I just wish I could wield a sword as well as she does!
Conclusion: ​If you want a series that will keep you guessing, with characters so real they step out of the page, and a heroine that I never get tired of reading about, then you should read the Shaede Assassin series, make friends with Darian...and her very, very complicated life.
