Recommended Series:  The Kingmaker Chronicles​

Cat Fisa is hiding her true identity as the Kingmaker in order to stay safe. The magic in her blood allows her to tell truth from lies, and that makes her a valuable commodity.  When she is kidnapped by a warlord with ambitions of his own, Cat will use all of her cunning, her smarts, and her survival to free herself from his clutches...even if he kindles a flame in Cat that she rather he not.

Conclusion : Steeped in Greek mythology, this series has action, romance, magic, and laughter. Cat is one of the best characters I have read in a a long time and her arc is fascinating.​

Melanie - I think this is the series you keep mentioning to me about. I'll get there... eventually lol
