 Can you believe this is the 4th year of 31 Days of Halloween? This year I am taking the reins with some help from Susan Harris. Things might look a little different but I guarantee one thing - Lots of "different" Halloween options! Day 16 - Last Kind Words (2012)Melanie Says - This was another one of those movies we grabbed when Blockbusters was closing down, mainly because it starred Brad Dourif who is probably best known for voicing Chucky in the Child's Play franchise. The movie itself has what I call the "Southern Creep Factor" which can generally be applied to anything set in the middle of nowhere in the south, normally on some sort of farm or plantation, and you know that at least one of the characters is going to be a ghost. If you watch enough of these movies, and I probably have, there are some plot points that are pretty obvious form the get go, but as I guess the plotline to a lot of horror movies I don't class that as necessarily a bad thing. Several popular tropes all crossover making this a decent watch if you haven't seen it and like creepy southern style horror. Definitely improved by the fact that Brad Dourif plays an excellent bad guy, and that it is available to watch for free right now.
