31 Days Of Halloween Movies 2023 - Day 13 - Warlock

​Can you believe this is the 4th year of 31 Days of Halloween? This year I am taking the reins with some help from Susan Harris. Things might look a little different but I guarantee one thing - Lots of "different" Halloween options!

Day 13 - Warlock (1989)

​​ Of all the movies on the list this year, I feel this is probably the most likely to be known by people, but with the discovery of Julian Sands' remains earlier this year I couldn't leave it out.

Warlock is definitely my favorite of all Julian's roles. I love that his character is so totally unapologetic with regard to what he is doing, and that he will do whatever it takes to make it happen. 

This movie is full of stars, including Richard E Grant and Lori Singer, and even though some of the scenes (*cough the airport cough*) are place this movie 100% in the 80s, I rewatched it a couple of weeks ago, and for me the story idea holds up so well. A bit of time travel, some 80s special effects and Julian Sands at his finest ... what's not to love?
