When "Gremlins" hit it big, a force of small, terrifying creature films begun to trend-- "Critters", "Ghoulies", "Munchies", etc. An alien race that escaped prison land on a farm and terrorize the neighborhood until the rescue party is sent to get them back under control.

HA! This is a good one! I mean when the tag line is "The Bite" - yup that about sums that up!
