28 Days Of Sequels 2023 Day 4 - Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit

Welcome to February's 28 Days Of Sequels! Every day throughout February one of our VIPers (Jenn, Susan Or Melanie) with occasional comments from the others  will present a movie sequel complete with a trailer!
The big difference with this list is they aren't all winners that we loved. Some were disappointments and some just trainwrecks. Hollywood is short on original ideas so when one hits big, they milk it for all its worth and squeeze it dry. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

Day 4 - Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit (1993)  - Jenn

Sister act two is just as good as the first but this time when the sisters ask for Delores help, it’s in the form of becoming a music teacher, which doesn’t thrill her at first. I mean with a rowdy class and students that just think it’s a bird course. I mean I don’t blame her. Though finally getting through to these students by making them a choir she realizes that maybe she’s more cut out for this then she thinks, also saving the school isn’t that bad either.  

Melanie - I love this movie.  This one, the first one, I will watch either of them if I happen to see them on. This is one of those sequels that could have gone either way but this one knocked it out the park.  They are just real feel good movies, oh and watch for a very young Lauryn Hill! Outstanding talent!
