Aliens. I seem to have a thing for them but this is a little different than alien movies I’ve written about before. There may be a million movies about them and in all shapes and sizes but knowing me, you know this one has to be different in some way.

It’s also by Stephanie Meyers, the same author who wrote “Twilight” and it is called “The Host” which was a book first then turned into a movie, but no I’ve never actually read the book. The movie though was not badly done at all.

This movie follows a band of people trying to just stay themselves and by that I mean they want no part in this alien takeover. This takeover is oddly different from ones you’ve seen because they don’t want to kill us. No, that would be too typical for me. They need us and I’m not going to say how because spoilers and this would definitely be a big one especially if you haven’t seen the movie or read the book, but I will give you one clue, and that’s the title means more than just it being a title.
