I see “Stranger Things” as a mix of comedy, horror, romance and add a dash of sci-fi so basically it has it all. Not to mention the 80s feel. Being set in the 80s helps but so does having an 80s icon like Winona Ryder as one of the main alongside mostly relative unknowns. Do you agree? This series is about five kids and there adventures with the upside down, though they might say nightmare. The upside down is a world parallel to ours, but more dangerous and dark. I know this show is older and popular but there might still be some who have never seen it, so I’ll stay away from spoilers. But if you’re into different then I definitely recommend you check out and watch “Stranger Things”. It felt fresh, despite being set in the 80s, and filled me with a ton of nostalgia for things that just aren't the same now. That being said once Season 2 started for me (and I know I am in the minority here) it lost its way and I just never went back to it. I see a lot of pieces about it on Social Media and KNOW some of the things that have happened have been fabulous (Kate Bush's resurgence for example lol) ... but for me I will stick with my other shows.
