This movie was actually a staple of my childhood and since then it’s been turned into a Broadway play, and  a newer version that just came out based on the Broadway play. You follow me, so far? So technically it’s not a remake remake, and if you hadn't guessed that movie is “Mean Girls”.

I love this movie because it reminds us that you shouldn’t have to ever change for anybody, especially a boy. Yes it’s also a revenge type story which is actually kind of interesting. Unpopular kids want to bring down the popular girls, or in this movie “the plastics". They use a brand new girl to do it, which doesn’t really turn out the way that they planned. Cady ends up joining the plastics but everything turns upside down especially when a burn book is released.

​ This movie is fun and family friendly. If you haven’t seen this version but you want to see the newer one, then I highly suggest watching this one first.
