These books turned movies have been around for a long time. They are probably everybody’s first books, or at least one of their first. I remember even getting these at my old school book fairs as well, and those books/movies are none other than Dr Seuss.

I think he’s the first one that I read when I was learning all about poems in grade school. He has surpassed generations and honestly I’m not surprised by that. He’s pretty awesome and so are the movies based from his books. They also seem to always have a hidden lesson in them as well. I mean look at the Lorax, they got rid of trees and looked what happened. I’m not saying that’s all that it’s about because it’s not, but it is definitely in there.

I think my favorite Dr Seuss book and movie has too be the Grinch and Jim Carrey’s  portrayal of the grinch. Spot on! It instantly became a Christmas classic. I’m definitely sure you’ve heard of this awesome children’s book writer, so do you have a favorite book or even movie adaptation from the loveable Dr Seuss.
