Paloma Faith has one of those instantly recognizable voices and I love this upbeat, let's go girl's kinda song about leaving that man behind who didn't threat you well.

Blink 182 - Fell In Love

Blink 182 are on a roll with all their new releases and I am here for it. They have adapted their songs to appeal to newer listeners, but also kept with their signature sound and silliness to appease the elder emo's. 

This is just one of those silly songs with lyrics that make ya wanna smile.

Beartooth - I Was Alive

I'd heard of Beartooth before, even listened to a few songs, but having listened to a few songs on their new album, I'll defo be checking them out.

Not sure I'm digging the pink suits in the music video but that's okay!

Feeder - Playing with Fire

Ah, Feeder...taking me back to my teen years and two of the best rock songs of the 90's and 00's in Buck Rodgers and Just a Day, Playing with Fire reminds me of those songs and you can defo hear the Feeder sound.

This was immediately added to my playlist!!

This of course is my song of the week!

I've made no secret about my love of BMTH or front-man, Oli Sykes - fun fact, my Oli Scott from Rebel County is based off Oli, his middle name is Scott ( See obsessed a little.

Love the mix of singing and throaty vocals!

Plus, I'm seeing BMTH and Bad Omens in January so I am VERY excited!!!!!

Throwback Track

One of the most annoying trends in music right now is this need to sample older songs, and not for the better...I heard a song on the radio the other morning and was soooo disappointed when it wasn't the absolute banger that is Shanks and Bigfoot, Sweet Like Chocolate, and some poor imitation called Sweet Lies...I don't mind a good cover, but all of those rehashed hits are blah!
