Green Day - Look Ma, No Brains​

Green Day never disappoint when they release an album, and I've been moshing in my car to this the past week!

Pendulum & Scarlxrd - Mercy Killing 

If you like drum and bass, Pendulum is always a good group to go to. 

I haven't heard of Scarlxrd before but the gravely vocals totally work with the tone of the song.

Normandie - Ritual

Normandie are​ a Swedish band that are described as Nordic metal, but they lean more toward indie rock to me. The vocalist has a great voice and the songs are always good...defo worth a listen.

Olivia Rodrigo -  Can't Catch Me Now

The music from any of The Hunger Games has always been fantastic, so I'm looking forward to more songs releasing. 

I've not been a fan of the kind of songs that Olivia brings out, but I really liked this.

Theo Bleak - I Look Like A Fool To You

Theo Bleak is a new to me singer, but I fell in love with this song and it's perfect for a scene I'm working on for Take the Lead, Rebel Books book 3.

She has a unique voice and I look forward to listening to her back catalogue.

Romy -Lifetime

Heard this song on an episode of the BBC show, Time (which is excellent this season and has some amazing actresses including Jodie Whittaker) and it's defo a boppy, floor filler.

Zara Larsson & David Guetta - On My Love

This is a song I heard on Strictly Come Dancing over the weekend and added it to the Take the Lead Playlist. Sorcha is a character who loves to hit the dancefloor and this would defo be a song to get Sorcha moving.
