Dennifer -When it comes to Star Wars shows recently, honestly, I’ve been hugely disappointed. "Bad Batch" didn't really grab my attention. "Visions" was good in concept but the trailer failed to lure me in. But now here comes "The Book of Boba Fett". I mean if I’m being honest, it’s a lot better than "The Mandalorian" and it just has the story the others seem to be missing. Well at least to me anyways. It was interesting when I found out that our so-called hero, well kind of hero of this show is still alive. If you remember he fell into the pit on Tatooine in "The Return of the Jedi", but I guess in some instances dead just doesn’t always mean dead. The first episode starts off by giving us the backstory of how he just so happened to escape the pit. Now some might find that boring but not me. I think I would have been mad had that not been explained, but luckily it was. So, the first episode does go a little slow, rich in the backstory of how we got to this point but it sure doesn’t stay that way for long. We also learn a little more about the Sand people and see a different side of them. This isn't the same old boring storytelling method, rehashing what we already know. We are learning as we go. The second episode zooms by and dashes bits of "Return of the Jedi" along the way leaving you wanting so much more, unlike its predecessor. I guess I just don’t get what that show has and in my honest opinion, I’d say skip "The Mandalorian" and go straight to "Book of Boba Fett", but again that’s just my thoughts. You might like both and that’s alright as well. Melanie here - The code word for this article is Boba!
