Jennifer Bollnow -Jennifer is TVaholic with no possibility or desire to rehab. She met Melanie when they worked together on the former Voice of TV website. She especially loves sci-fi, fantasy, Christmas movies and anything with Patrick Swayze. She loves helping people find their new favorite series The modern Christmas trees originated in 16th century Germany although the practice of bringing in evergreen boughs dates as far back as ancient Egyptians. Trees were decorated with Fruit and nuts. German immigrants brought this tradition with them around the globe. Paintings of Queen Victoria's Christmas Trees started making the trend more popular world wide. In late 1800's, department stores started selling imported Christmas Ornaments. Today Christmas ornaments are a multi- billion dollar industry. This year, Musers will have a Christmas Ornament exchange. The ornaments can be store bought or homemade. Ornament cost should not exceed $10. Each person will be responsible for shipping costs (Keep in mind Musers live all over US and other countries) This exchange is open to all Musers and the entry form even has a question about just how Christmassy you are, so person who has your name can keep that in mind. Sign up will be closed Sunday, December 4th at 11:59pm. Names will be drawn Monday, December 5th and you will get a message with your person and their info. Please keep in mind shipping can take longer this time of year but ensure all ornaments are mailed by December 16th. Please send Melanie Muses a pic of your ornament and who it was from so we can share on a post. Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays or Bah Humbug (whatever you prefer)!
