Ever since The Foo Fighters unleashed Shame Shame upon the world, I have been counting down the days until the release of Medicine at Midnight and I was not disappointed

Medicine at Midnight is The Foo fighters tenth studio album and one of their best. You can tell that the band are still having the time of their lives.

Now, the Foo's need no introduction, after 25 years in the music business so I'm not going to waste time introducing them.

I have been a Foo Fighters fan for years, and I will tell anyone who will listen that I worship at the altar of Dave Grohl and listen to the words of the gospel of Foo.

What I love about The Foo Fighters is too much to explain in one review, but from epic videos and car mosh songs, from one of the best live bands I have ever seen, I never get tired of listening to Dave and the gang. That hairs on the back of your neck feeling has never faded for me and I've been lucky to see the band love twice, once as a headliner for the Reading and Leeds festival in the UK and in Manchester.

Plus, the band seem like you would have an epic night out over a few pints or,
like on my bucket
list, direct a music video for them!
Medicine at Midnight hits the ground running with Making a Fire, before dropping in with the showstopper Shame Shame, each song will make you want to tap your feet and get up and dance until you get a little reprieve with the slower tempo Chasing Birds.

          Track Listing
  1. Making a Fire
  2. Shame Shame
  3. Cloudspotter
  4. Waiting on a War
  5. Medicine at Midnight
  6. No Son of Mine
  7. Holding Poison
  8. Chasing Birds
  9. Love Dies Young
Standout tracks for me: Shame Shame, Cloudspotter. Medicine at Midnight, No son of Mine and Holding Poison but every song on the album is worth a listen.

Foo Fighters return with a triumphant album to give 2021 just what it needs in the form of a toe tapping, mood lifting, 36 mins of awesome.
And like I said in my tweet when I first listened to the album,
hearing these songs live is gonna be fucking biblical.
If Foo fighter are not on your playlist, do yourself a favor and start with Medicine at Midnight and give your ears the nirvana they deserve.
You can thank me later.
