So here we are! The penultimate book in what continues to be a complete roller-coaster ride of a series.  The stakes have never been higher than they are at the beginning of this book, and without giving spoilers, all I can say is that just when you think you might have figured out what's going to happen - I would bet good money that you haven't.

Anyone who follows my reviews knows that I have been a fan of this series since day 1, and Susan continues to push the limits, the action, and reader stress levels, in a way that few others do. 

If you haven't started this series yet - what are you waiting for?  Book 1 Skin and Bones is currently free! For those that have been anxiously awaiting this installment - you will NOT be disappointed.  The only down side is that when you are done, and your mouth is hanging open - you will realize that the wait is on again for the final installment.  On the plus side at least I don't think even Susan can manage to cliffhanger that one. 

A solid 5 stars from me and definitely Melanie's Muses approved!
