1. There Once was a land not far from where we sit now. This is the story of Muserland, before the dawning of our time….
There was a Queen who was also a powerful Wiccan, she ruled over Muserland with kindness and a dab of sarcasm. Muserland was at war with the darkness. Queen Melanie was at her wits end on how the The Musers would defeat the darkness. Many Musers had perished already in the fight. Queen Melanie cast a powerful spell and called upon the God and Goddesses before her to help defeat the darkness that plague the Muserland. She had her right hand man, her King to help with the spell. While her faithful Musers gathered the specific and remote ingredients. On the Sunday of All Hallows’ Eve, Queen Melanie started the spell. The Gods and Goddesses before her, summoned a powerful object that would help The Musers bring forth the Light back to Muserland. Queen Melanie looked upon the object that appeared before her….it was a golden pineapple. The Golden Pineapple was beautiful and unique. Several of her Musers were allergic to the sister of this beautiful creation, the regular pineapple. Because of this allergy, the Gods and Goddess made this pineapple golden so that the natural elements would not trigger reactions upon The Musers. Queen Melanie decided there was no time like now to see if this beautiful Golden Pineapple would work against the darkness. Queen Melanie held the Golden Pineapple up into the stars night and was in awe of the rays of light that danced upon the darkest sky that stood before her. She chanted ever so quietly and as the words left her lips, rays of golden light shot into the darkness of night. As those rays touch the horizon of stars, the darkness slowly cracked away bit by bit, until all that was left was the beauty of the day. For this reason The Golden Pineapple of Muserland sits in the The Muser Hall of our beautiful land. As forth the descendants of Muserland celebrate The Golden Pineapple every October as a tribute to the Queen and the Golden Pineapple.

2. There once was a shapeshifting alien named Jerry. He loved to explore galaxies and planets. One day, the decided to visit Earth in the 8th Century BC in Phrygia.  Jerry landed his ship near a castle and grew wings and flew to the castle. He turned invisible so no one could see him and flew into the castle. He found a room and flew into it. The room was full of golden pineapples. Jerry got an idea and turned into a normal pineapple in the pile of golden pineapples. Then someone strode into the pineapple room. What Jerry didn't know is that this person is King Midas. King Midas noticed his non-golden pineapple and looked surprised. Then running to Pineapple Jerry, he touched Jerry, trying to eat him, and turned Pineapple Jerry into Golden Pineapple Jerry. Eventually, King Midas starved and Golden Pineapple Jerry was stuck as a golden pineapple. One day, during an archaeological dig, Golden Pineapple Jerry was dug up, a long with the other golden pineapples. Selena found the Golden Pineapple Jerry and gave him to Melanie's Muses. Melanie and Greg own an alien. The End!

3. A Muser went on vacation to Florida. During their trip they went on a hike. At the top of the hiking trail was an ordinary looking pineapple plant. The Muser picked a pineapple to take home. Upon returning home they realized that the pineapple had turned gold! After a few weeks they realized it provided 3 wishes as well! After they used their 3 wishes they mailed the pineapple to Melanie and Greg so they could also have 3 wishes. The End :)

4. One day a prince was cursed to be alone for eternity, for he loved money and gold more than anything. His prized possession was a golden pineapple that many had seeked and failed to find before him. One day an assassin snuck into the castle and slipped the prince's throat, taking the golden pineapple. The cursed princes soul was sucked into the golden pineapple, causing death and destruction to any who held it in their possession as vengeance for his own death.

5. Many years ago the Gypsies came across a golden pineapple during their travels. Over the years this pineapple was carried from generation to generation. One of the descendents happen to be friends with the lady who was very generous and in exchange for her friendship she was gifted the golden pineapple. Every Sunday this lady has a live show where a group of friends that are now called her musers get together to chat. The pineapple has become a symbol of what the group stands for, which is friendship. It is only fitting as the pineapple is known as the friendship fruit.

6. There was once a prince who was so selfish that even his parents were ashamed of him.
Try as they might, it seemed the only thing he cared about was painting and boasting about
what a talented painter he was. He cared very little about the people in the kingdom unless
they had something “of value” to offer him. He didn’t even case about his own brother, for no
one was worthy of his time.
During the harshest winter in the kingdom’s history, when very little food could be
grown and most livestock died, he demanded his own guards collect a vast amount of the
flowers and vegetation that has managed to survive, so it could be used to paint with. Many
people died because of his selfishness.
After much pushing from his parents to become invested in the people of the kingdom,
he decided to have a contest. If someone could make something he deemed worthy of being
displayed alongside one of his paintings, he would host a feast every night each winter of his
rule to ensure no one went hungry. His parents were proud, yet hesitant, knowing there had to
be some sort of catch. For in his mind, nothing compared to his talent as a painter. Knowing he
must have some kind of scheme planned, his parents sought out the witch who lived on the
edge of the woods. She rarely stepped foot into the kingdom, living off the land with no desire
to be anywhere near the selfish prince.
Knowing they had little time left in this life, they asked her to join the contest, to use
her powers to make an object that would open his heart so they could leave this existence
knowing their people would not perish because of their son’s selfishness. The witch agreed but
refused any form of payment hey offered, saying it would be her honor.
She worked tirelessly for five days and nights until she had made the perfect object, a
golden pineapple. She had heard the prince had taken quite a liking to the exotic fruit and
thought one made of gold would surely catch his eye.
When the day of the contest finally came, the prince was less than impressed by what
most of the people had to offer. Insulted, these “peasants” thought anything their dirty hands
had touched was worthy to be anywhere near one of his masterpieces. Then something caught
his eye. A gold pineapple. Enraged by the thought someone else might have an eye for the
design, he hid the pineapple from view as he declared there was no winner.
Snickering to herself, as she left the gathering of people, the witch walked back to her
cabin, knowing she had done her job.
Over the next few days, an anxious hush began to fall over the kingdom as news of the
prince’s sudden bout of madness began to spread. How was it possible he had lost his ability to
paint as though he had never known how to hold a brush? The witch couldn’t have been more
pleased, yet she said not a word until the king and queen called on her again.
She explained to them that she had put a curse on the gold pineapple to drain the
prince of every last drop of his artistic ability. She continued to say she knew if he could no
longer paint, he simply had two choices; be the prince and future king the people needed or go
stark raving mad. She then confessed that many of the people who perished during that harsh
winter had been members of her family.
Understanding her reasoning, the king and queen returned to their castle to find the
prince had been locked away for trying to use his own blood to paint. The only outcome being a
visit from the healer.
Over the next few months, the prince was deemed unfit to rule and it was announced
the younger of the princes would rule when the time came. No one in the kingdom dared ask
what happened to the selfish prince but it has been said that until the day the madness took
him entirely, that someone had made sure the gold pineapple never left its spot outside his
door.

7. There once was a woman who came to the local witch for help.
The woman had been working as a maid in the castle.  The royals treated her poorly.  They overworked her, mocked her and abused her.  She begged the witch for a new life.  She asked to have a tough skin so people couldn't hurt her so easily.  She wanted to wear the crown so she could stand up to her bullies and change laws to protect others. She also pleaded to be surrounded by gold because money would make her life easier.  The witch agreed to her request and began whistling a tune as she began brewing the potion.  When she finished the potion, she asked the woman if she was sure she wanted to make the changes.  The woman nodded , drank the potion and was engulfed by a puff of smoke.  When the smoke cleared all that remained was a golden pineapple.  The witch cackled and said, "Tough skin-check, Crown-check, Surrounded by gold-check.  Another satisfied customer!"
As she returned to work the witch sang, "Do you like pina coladas..."

8. It all started in 1509 with the pirate Melanie the Great,  world wide known because of her amount of treasures...  But sadly she was betrayed by her crew... They Took away all her treasures or that's what they thought.  She knew she was going to be betrayed (her co-captain and lover Greg told her so).
She cast a hollow pineaple in gold where she left inside a map with the whereabouts of the biggest treasure she had.  Greg painted the golden pineapple as an ordinary one.
The day she was betrayed, she only asked to take Greg and that pineapple with her so she wouldn't starve.  The crew relented, laughing uproariously.  In order not to be discovered, Melanie passed the pineapple from generation to generation until today, with the passage of time the paint disappeared and the real gold re-emerged.  Will the current Melanie dare to look inside this golden pineapple?

9. In a land before time was kept by man, a bitter old god was cast down for lusting after the riches of heaven, especially The Golden Pineapple , fruit of the gods.  Because of his offence,  he was sentenced to bear witness as the thing he loved most was made "real" and given to mankind. His lips would never touch or taste Pineapple chicken, Pineapple salad, or ham with Pineapples and Cherries.  Even now, if you listen closely, you can hear his bitter laughter as pineapples are packed into cans.
The End?
