This book was my introduction to Susan Harris back in 2014.  That tagline in the synopsis?  That was from me. I was the one that said "There are some books where you get to the end and you just have to take a deep breath before you can do anything. THIS is one of those books."   In fact other than a few moments in Susan Harris' other works there are very few books that in reality make me feel this way, and not only feel like that, but have me feeling  the same way, even now.  Six years later. 

This is the book I always want people to read.  When I first read it I called it a rollercoaster of a ride - and I stand by that. I still feel there isn't anything else like it out there.  The writing is captivating and you are dragged into what can only be described as an impossible situation.  It stands alone.  There is no sequel, and part of me hopes there will never be a sequel, and that it can remain one of those rare books that just is.
