Based on the comic by Beau Smith, the Canadian television show Wynonna Earp follows Wyatt Earp's great-great-granddaughter, Wynonna who is this generation's heir. It's not the family fortune she's inherited though, it's the Earp family curse. The 77 outlaws Wyatt Earp killed resurrect as revenants & can only be sent back to hell by Peacemaker which can only be wielded by the Earp heir. Along with her little sister Waverly, the one & only Doc Holliday, & a variety of other characters throughout the series, Wynonna fights to save the people she loves & the town that needs her (whether they admit it or not).

Adapted for television by Emily Andras (who also worked on seasons 3 & 4 of Lost Girl), the TV series has a bit of everything. It's hilarious, action packed, sexy, it's got morally grey characters, & it's got heart. It also has it's share of cheesy one liners but to me that's part of the it's charm.   
Each character is totally different from the next but the wonderful thing about them all is they're all flawed in their own way. There's characters that rise, some that fall, & some that become unexpected heroes.

I was late to the Earper fandom. I found the show through Netflix about 2 years ago but after one episode I was all in. I don't know if I'm alone in this but if find a show or movie I really enjoy I fall down a bit of a rabbit hole. I head straight for YouTube & watch past behind the scenes, interviews, & panels until my eyeballs are ready to fall out. What I learned was this is a show who's fandom is a family that the cast & writers are thankful for & proud to be a part of. Most importantly I learned it's more than "just a show" to a lot of people & that's something I think Musers can relate to.

Like a lot of comic to TV adaptations,  there are characters in the show that weren't in the comics. These characters became show favorites quickly & were later added. The below collection also includes stories by Tim Rozon aka Doc & Melanie Scrofano who plays Wynonna.
