 Can you believe this is the 4th year of 31 Days of Halloween? This year I am taking the reins with some help from Susan Harris. Things might look a little different but I guarantee one thing - Lots of "different" Halloween options! Day 1 - Sleepwalkers (1992)Melanie Says - Most people associate Brian Krause with Charmed - which is fair - but although he was great as Leo, to me he will always be the guy from Sleepwalkers. This movie, adapted from a Stephen King story (and featuring a cameo from the author as he so likes to do), has a very different take than your average "High School Horror". In fact in this movie, you spend more time with the "villains" than the "good guys" and there are some twists along the way that they definitely wouldn't be allowed to get away with now - which of course for me makes it even better. Other than Brian there are LOTS of people you will recognize I'm sure .... including Alice Krige, Mädchen Amick, and Ron Perlman. This is definitely one of the more underrated Stephen King movies in my opinion plus there are lots of cats! I mean who doesn't like cats? Not to mention I can't hear the song from the trailer without instantly thinking about this!
