Meet Muser of the Week Diana Dalton - who was announced Monday. (See the original announcement here). One the optional perks is to have a mini interview posted here to the blog.
(Diana and Doug on BART on our way to Oakland Colosseum to watch the Raiders and Cowboys play)
How did you find Melanie's Muses? I read Kristen Painters book The Vampire's Mail Order Bride and fell in love with Nocturne Falls and her writing. Went and looked her up and Melanie was on a video with giveaways. From there I found Muses and Musers.
What's your favorite TV show that you are watching at the moment? Picking only one is tough but I would say Blacklist. It has smart writing, quirky characters, and incredibly dark humor which I love.
What's your all time favorite TV Show? Oh wow, now that's tough. If I absolutely had to pick only one then I would say The Vampire Diaries...no wait...The Originals. Oh but then Teen Wolf was so good. Lost? Eureka? Elementary? Once Upon a Time? Gilmore Girls?
What book are you reading at the moment? I usually read 2 or 3 books at once. One downstairs and the other upstairs, maybe one in the purse or car. Right now it's only two. Upstairs book is The Clockwork Scarab :: A Stoker and Holmes Novel by Colleen Gleason (my first dive into Steampunk) and my downstairs book is Halfway There by Eve Langlais.
Is there a book you are excited about for 2020? Anything from my favorite authors...always. Although thanks to Melanie I've now added 12 new authors to that list with PWF so my TBR pile for the year has grown exponentially.
Tea or Coffee? Coffee with Vanilla Creamer.
Last movie you watched - and how would you rate it? At home we watched The Imitation Game and it was really, really good. At the theaters we went to see Midway with 3 of our boys on our 25th anniversary on 11/11 (Veterans Day) Incredible film, have tissues standing by.
Anything else you want to share with the Musers - I just turned 52 last week (and my boys keep saying OK Boomer), I'm Greek American and speak Greek fluently raised by my little Greek grandmother, marriage #2 for almost 26 years, I have four boys ages 31, 19 and 15 year old twins (fraternal), I love coffee, love to read and love rainy/stormy days, I play no-limit poker once a week, I cross stitch, I make sock gnomes, I create graphic art (wallpapers, tags, timelines etc http://greekkisses.blogspot.com/), I'm a Dallas Cowboys fan (shhh...Greg...you hush now), I was a teen of the 80s so most of my playlists are filled with 80s rock and metal, I've got 6 tattoos,
I curse too much, my dad was a famous Greek musician and can be found all over YouTube, my mom gave me my passion for reading, Elvis Presley held me backstage in 1969 when he and my dad worked Vegas together and I have his autograph on the back of my dads business card, I'm an introvert, I love the beach/ocean, been to Greece only twice (first time to get baptized and second at age 15 for the summer). I'm pretty boring actually. Stay home most nights making dinner and watching TV with my hubby Doug.
Huge thank you to Diana for sharing her awesome answers!
