Welcome to February's 28 Days Of Sequels! Every day throughout February one of our VIPers (Dave, Jenn, Or Melanie) with occasional comments from the others will present a movie sequel complete with a trailer!
The big difference with this list is they aren't all winners that we loved. Some were disappointments and some just trainwrecks. Hollywood is short on original ideas so when one hits big, they milk it for all its worth and squeeze it dry. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Day 3 - Boondock Saints 2 - All Saints Day (Mel)
I love the Boondock Saints movies - yes both of them. This is one case where the sequel doesn't out do the first one, but it definitely holds it's own. There has been talk of a part 3 for years and I would definitely watch it - but won't lie - the gap in years might be its downfall. That being said look at Bill and Ted Face The Music. We waited forever for that and it was worth it!
If you like the first movie you should check this out if you haven't seen it.... and if you haven't seen the first one rectify that IMMEDIATELY!

This is a unique and one you probably never heard of the original either. 1986 "F/X" came out. An effects prop master, a murder, trying to pin it on him. Very well done but didn't do much at the box office. Over time, it gains traction on home video and cable so about 5 years later, they make this sequel. Worth looking into if you haven't seen them yet.
Melanie Says - Nope I haven't heard of this OR the first one lol

Three Men and a Little Lady" is the sequel to "Three Men and a Baby", now after I watched the first one it was a bit before I even realized that there was a sequel. This one being when Mary is grown up and the boys realize that they could lose her and everything that they know and have come to love. As sequels goes, it’s not bad and I like seeing more of the story but could it have been done better? Yes. I’m not saying it’s a bad sequel, just not great.
Dave Says - I probably saw this right after it came out so its been about 30 years, give or take. Don't remember much about it but what Jenn said sounds right. Pretty good but not great. Doesn't touch the original.
Melanie Says - Totally agree! Definitely didn't live up to the first one at all!
