Day 2 - Santa Clause The Movie (1985)

How many of you read that and immediately thought about the Tim Allen Santa Clause Movies? For some reason this little gem seems to get lost in the Christmas Movies list but I love it.  With some big names such as Dudley Moore and John Lithgow, you would think this would be a shoe in. Sadly negative reviews seemed to have hit this one hard. The biggest complaint? There is no real big bad guy!

The movie mixes real world and Christmas North Pole fun, and some lessons about why some things need to be the way they are. It also has an interesting "legend of Santa" which even now would catch my attention. 

I remember when this released on video that the wait list for it was IMMENSE and it seemed to take forever to get to see it. And I was not disappointed. If you haven't seen it, check it out, and open your heart to a little Christmas fun. If you HAVE seen it, let me know what you thought! Am I the only one that thinks this should get more love? (I mean honestly that wouldn't be the first time lol)
